Our Vision is that all youth transition to adulthood with the experience of demonstrating responsibility for service to others and with a strong sense of being connected to their community. YTB-Global is appreciated as a system of service exchange that leverages the talents, capabilities, and energies of youth so that they are viewed as partners and co-producers to achieve shared goals and work towards shared visions in our communities.
Our Mission
Our Mission
Youth Time Banking Global (YTB-Global) supports youth with service opportunities, community connections, and transition to adulthood. Youth participate in service exchanges that increase community connections and give youth practice to “Build One Strength each Season” (BOSS). At the end of a season youth earn a gift card they can use to support the local economy.
YTB is a program for youth to build community, do things for others, and earn YTB credits. The credits can be used for a chance to experience something new or for help with something they need like cell phone minutes, school supplies, sports gear, arts-crafts, books, or apps.YTB is for people 14-25 and Middle School, High School, & College students andfriends. Those 18+ participate independently, others with their parent or school.YTB is in NJ, FL, CT, Jamaica. Similar programs are in England, New Zealand &other countries.
